In two weeks I will be on a plane. The destination? Spain. I will be going to Spain with these lovely ladies....
Our task will be to develop relationships with the people of Spain. We plan on going to the local universities, cafes, and coffee shops in order to intentionally relationships. From there we will be sharing Truth in those relationships. Aside from being immersed in a culture filled with sweet treats, a rich history, and beautiful architecture I honestly cannot wait to see what opportunities will take place as we set on the journey.
However, the chapter does not end here. There is one more page to turn. At the end of the month, my team will be returning to the US and I will be staying in Spain. I plan to move in with a Spanish family and be a nanny. I will be taking care of three children. There is a set of twins that are six, a boy and a girl; and there is one more boy who is five. This really is an opportunity unlike any other I have had before. I know that I will find myself being challenged in ways that I have never before.
I look forward to seeing the beauty of the Almighty in a new culture, with new people, and from a different perspective. As I walk the street of Spain, I pray that the focus and desire of my heart would quite simply be to see the glory of the Divine manifested among all nations.
And so begins the chapter. It starts off with much excitement and anticipation for what is to come.
